AWI is proud to be a steering organization for the Homes for Horses Coalition. Founded in 2007, the Homes for Horses Coalition is a network of over 500 equine rescue, sanctuary, and animal welfare organizations dedicated to ending horse slaughter. The combined expertise of the coalition is aimed at promoting the welfare and protection of horses and other equines through advocacy, education, and professionalization.
