Petitions for Rulemaking and Complaints
AWI submits formal petitions for rulemaking and complaints to federal agencies asking them to use their regulatory power to secure better treatment of farmed animals, and to ensure truthful marketing of animal products.
Requests for Enforcement and Prosecution
When necessary, AWI requests enforcement against or prosecution of parties that violate existing laws or policies. These requests are made at the federal, state, and local level.
