The Animal Welfare Institute (AWI) seeks a donor relations intern. The successful applicant would help maintain the organization’s membership and donor database and send acknowledgements to donors. We are looking for an outgoing team player who can communicate effectively with the public, has experience with Donor Perfect online software and/or strong, accurate data processing computer skills, and an ability to multitask. This is a great opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a non-profit organization as well to help animals. Interns may work full-time or part-time and can arrange to receive course credit. Please submit a résumé and cover letter to Wendy McNally at [email protected]. This is a remote or in-person position at AWI’s historic row house offices in the Eastern Market section of Capital Hill, Washington DC. Students accepted for internships are encouraged to apply for AWI’s Paid Internship Program.
