Dear Humanitarian,

As we continue to fight against the proposed trapping season for bobcats, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) has extended its deadlines for comment and public hearings.

In February, we asked you to submit a comment to the ODNR explaining your opposition to this proposed rule. Now, we need you to also contact the ODNR director, Jim Zehringer, and the Ohio Wildlife Council to make sure your voice is heard.

What You Can Do

Send a letter to Director Zehringer and the Wildlife Council.

If possible, please also attend one of the two public meetings where you can speak against the proposed rule in person. Note: the dates for these meetings have changed.

Share our "Dear Humanitarian" eAlert with family, friends, and co-workers in Ohio, and encourage them to submit comments to the ODNR director and the Wildlife Council, and to also attend one of the meetings. Thank you for all you do for animals!

Sincerely,

Cathy Liss
President
